چکیده

We provide a new interpretation of the Nash bargaining solution, using fictitious play. Based on the finding that the Nash demand game has the fictitious play property and that almost every fictitious play process and its associated belief path converge to a pure-strategy Nash equilibrium in the Nash demand game (In, 2014), we present two initial demand games which exactly and approximately implement the Nash bargaining solution. Vehicle Routing Problem in Competitive Environment: Two-Person Nonzero Sum Game Approach

Vehicle routing problem is one of the most important issues in transportation. Among VRP problems, the competitive VRP is more important because there is a tough competition between distributors and retailers. In this study we introduced new method for VRP in competitive environment. In these methods Two-Person Nonzero Sum games are defined to choose equilibrium solution. Therefore, revenue giv...

Employing a Multi-Criteria Approach under Bankruptcy Conditions for Optimal Allocation of Shared Water Resources through Using Asymmetric Nash Bargaining Method

Management based on the flexibility, fairness, and sustainability characteristics of water resources may play a key role in preventing the continuation of the crisis process as well as reducing water users’ conflict. In the present research, the framework for the optimal allocation of shared water resources was presented using a combination of bankruptcy concepts and asymmetric Nash bargaining....

Evolutionary bargaining with intentional idiosyncratic play☆

We study equilibrium selection in stochastic evolutionary bargaining games in which idiosyncratic play is intentional instead of random. In contract games, the stochastically stable state selected by intentional idiosyncratic play is the Nash bargain, rather than the usual Kalai-Smorodinsky solution.

Implementing the Nash Extension Bargaining Solution† for Non-convex Problems

Conley and Wilkie (1993) introduced and axiomatized the Nash extension bargaining solution, defined on a domain of comprehensive but not necessarily convex problems. In this paper we present a non-cooperative game that implements the Nash extension solution in subgame perfect equilibria in the limit as the discount rate applied between rounds of play vanishes. Journal of Economic Literature Cla...

On the Relevance of Alternatives in Bargaining: Average Alternative Solutions

We compare bargaining solutions in terms of the relevance of alternatives. We show that most well-known bargaining solutions do not use all the alternatives, but there are numerous bargaining solutions that do. We introduce a new class of bargaining solutions called ``average alternative solutions'', characterize them, and show that the Nash solution and the Kalai-Smorodinsky solution are limit...
